Project Spark Experiment - New User

Project Spark is a "game creator" game on the Xbox One and Windows 8.1.  It is essentially a much more realized version of Kodu Game Lab.  Unlike Kodu game lab however, you can share levels and there are built in game modes included: Crossroads and Champion's Quest (though if you want to play past 1-1, you're going to have to purchase it).

This is essentially a Free to Play game with purchasable in game content packs.  How do they do the free to play part with in game currency?  Basically, there are daily and weekly challenges that award the player with "credits" (there are also Goals and Milestones for doing certain things that award credits and XP).  They recently added Treasure Trove, which is another way to earn some credits and even Spark Premium.

Oh yeah, Spark Premium is kind of a paid service where you can purchase in game content packs sooner with credits - and you also earn double the XP, credits and Champion XP when this is active (the real benefit).  Unfortunately, you could only get this with real currency (by buying Tokens with real money) - now it is available as a prize in Treasure Trove (5, 10, 25 - but there is a multiplier).

I decided to break out my original Xbox Live gamertag to see how things work for a new player (and this time I'm not going to spend any money.  i did this now because Treasure Trove included a 7 Day Spark Premium Prize (and i was kind of bored sucking at Rayman Legends).

I am doing this to answer a few questions that I have been wondering about - that I should find the answers to

Questions:
* Treasure Trove (Spark Concentration) - random or fixed?
 - Random

* Does DLC transfer between user accounts on the same console?
- Mostly no.  Apparently, if purchased directly with cash (Starter Pack, etc) it appears to be usable to multiple account.  The in game store DLC, i doubt it.

* How much of an impact does Spark Premium have when starting?
- Stay tuned, that is probably the next post in the "series"
