What i Expect From This Next Generation

So, i'm getting an Xbox One in a little less than a month (I hope so, as it is already fully paid off)

What do I expect from this generation?  Not as much as you might think...

1) Faster load times in games and less load screens
2) A little better graphics (more below maybe).
3) Cloud saves - especially since game installs will be so large./ The external hard drive update isn't supposed to be out until April or May.
4) Multi-tasking capability (in some way)
5) Improved voice/motion controls
6) Device more than just a video game player
7) Growth of Downloadable games market (mid tier games the $20-40 game)
8) Download price inflation (I didn't say they were all good): $10 games will turn into $20, $15 to $25 and so on - a general increase in the price of downloads over last generation.
9) New Console Growing pains: not everything will be perfect at launch, the software stuff can be fixed.  Hardware problems are far scarier.
10) etc.: stuff I can't think of now
11) A little better reliability off the bat (but not that much).  I see the console lasting 4-6 years before dying.  I don't see a Red Ring of Death scenario happening again, at least on that scale (thank you EU soldering rules), but there are a lot of moving parts that can fail.
12) Free to Play: there will probably be a fair number of these that come out each year, many of them will follow the "pay to win" model (where you can buy upgrades).

2) Graphics:
I really don't find graphics to be that important (especially resolution).  This upcoming generation (8th generation - yes, i'm ignoring the Wii U). This is shaping up to be the smallest increase in resolution between console generations in history (or at least one of them).  I just want things to look a little better than they would have on my 360.  If the games could hit a baseline of 720P (with solid frame rates and much less screen tearing) that would be more than enough for me.

People online are clamoring for 1080P/60.  In my view 1080p at 60 frames per second is a waste of time, money/resources and disc space.  i'm not a huge fan of 1080P anyway (can't see a huge difference between 720P and 1080P - I can see some differences in stuff like contrast ratios though).

Miscellaneous:
The $100 price difference for the Xbox One and the PS4 has been overblown.  Personally, I would have been interested in the Kinect 2 for at least what I paid for Kinect 1 ($129.99).  Another factor is that thousands of people are purchasing the consoles with more than $100 in store credit from wherever they purchased it from (GameStop, Best Buy, etc).
