The Bottom Line:
Blade Kitten is an action heavy ( lots of annoying enemies to fight) platformer from Krome Studios. You play as Kat Ballard, a cat girl with an attitude. She is stuck on an odd planet after her ship explodes. i kind of liked this game, though sometimes i felt there were too many enemies. There is much exploring to do (especially looking for treasure chests and collectibles) - some of the items are kind of hard to get to.
Grade: C
What to Expect:
* Jumping on to platforms, climbing up walls, timing runs through squisher things, etc
* Fighting a bunch of enemies
* Fighting through: slide or attack enemies (some with shields)
* A bunch of treasure chests/collectibles to collect
* A game that ends rather abruptly (and teases a "part 2" that will probably never come)
* Boss fights
* Blades and costumes to buy
Achievements:
There are 12 achievements available for 200 gamerscore. There are a couple of annoying achievements here: defeating 5,000 enemies, going through a level without being hit, finding all of the treasure chests, purchasing all of the costumes and beating the game in under 90 minutes. The other achievements seem more achievable - like defeating 100 enemies with slide, dying 9 times in one level and some of the story related achievements.
How i Played:
