Let's see what happened on the video game front...
* i miss E3. The hype, the announcements, the industry cohesiveness. Now you have a bunch of disjointed videos. MSFT is probably the closest to still have E3 type, but i didn't watch again this year. Only really interested in Fable anyway.
* Becoming more and more disenfranchised with what video games have seemingly turned into. Unfinished buggy messes at launch. $70 for new games, how about no. Constant updates are annoying.
* Got Game Pass again for 3 months (thanks severely nerfed Microsoft/Bing Rewards points). Decided to get it to play Persona 3 Reload and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (hopefully, i'll get around to it before GP expires in September). With Game Pass, it seems i play games more for the pittances i get for rewards than actually enjoying the games.
* Beat Persona 3 Reload (GP). Took me about 70 hours. Got all achievements except the extremely annoying one for maxing all social links. Kind of hard to do on a first playthrough (especially with the social gated ones). A little better than the previous version - the shuffle time isn't really a randomized thing anymore. The end boss still really sucks (his 13 sub forms).
* i Hate tactical games. Playing Persona 5 Tactica. Not going well. Somehow beat the first two kingdoms. Much prefer the standard JRPG "grind until you're invincible" strategy. Don't like all the stupid added rules.
* Been playing some free-to-play games. Mostly Idle Champions (D&D) and Puzzle Quest 3.
* Have a third GamerTag that i wanted to use to reexperience Xbox 360 games, but i haven't done that much. Don't know how i had the patience to beat some of those games back in the day. Some are so much harder for me now - i guess "aging" and getting worse with twitch movements and screen recognition can do that for you.
GamerScore Update (as of June 14, 2024):
- Original/Secondary (is it still): 108,478.
- Tertiary: 13.396 (mostly free-to-play)
