I know Q1 (Jan, Feb, March) isn't quite over yet, but I did another check on the Game Room leaderboards. This was made more difficult by the leaderboard/servers being somewhat unstable.
My rule for continuing to do these "reports" is that at least 5 games have to show leaderboard increases during the period. I guess there will be another "report" maybe in late May or Early June.
Observed Leaderboard Increases (As of March 10, 2013)
* Activision Decathlon: +1,000
* Asteroids: +1,000
* Cosmic Commuter: +100
* Devastators: +1,000
* Dolphin: +100
* Hyper Crash: +1,000
* Mr. Goemon: +1,000
* Video Pinball: +1,000
Summary:
This took a while to get (unstable server), but at least the leaderboards seemed to be the right ones (now I have a list of the top scores and players for all ranked games). I observed 8 increases for a total of 6,800 leaderboard additions.
As it currently stands the numbers are:
* Estimated Ranked Sales (at 87.5% leaderboard): 438,889
* Arcade vs Console: 329,700 / 109,100 (note the numbers don't exactly add up)
* Konami vs Atari: 188,825 / 169,927
That is not good for 3 or so months, but it might be better than Capcom Arcade (on the 360). Of course, it may not have been the best idea for sales to announce that an all in one pack will be available at a later date (and a discounted price). I think the first pack will not be included on the 360. My check on the first 3 games on Capcom Arcade had all three launch games at less than 700 leaderboard.
