Dview: Arkadian Warriors (XBLA)

The Bottom Line:
Arkadian Warriors is a hack-n-slash game available on XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade).  For a downloadable title, this offers a decent amount of gameplay.  There are numerous dungeon crawling "quests" (which you can replay).  The game has recently been reduced in price to 400 points ($5 US)

Grade: C- 

What to Expect:
* 19 or so quests to complete - mainly of the fetch variety
* 3 character classes to chose from: mage, soldier, archer
* Enemy mobs that occasionally drop: weapons, armor, gold or potions
* Hidden rooms in the levels to find
* Combat is mostly button pressing (i think A, B for a special attack)
* The chance to level up to 20 (which increases some of your base stats and special attacks)
* Alter Ego form: can briefly transform into a beast when the gauge is high enough - usefull for dealing heavier damage to enemies/groups
* Potion capacity: health 20, mana 10, Alter Ego 5
* Game can be played co-op on couch

How I Played:
- Difficulty: Default (i don't think it is selectable)
- Game Time: Around 10 hours (lots of replaying to get to level 20)
- Achievements 12/12 for 200 gamerscore

Achievements:
There are 12 achievements for 200 available gamersore.  This is not necessarily a hard list, but a time consuming one.  There are achievements for stuff like: equiping armor, beating all monsters in a level, getting a 10 kill chain, playing a set number of levels co-op (you can do it one player if you have two controllers), killing X monsters in certain ways, getting so much money, finding secret rooms, getting to level 20, etc.
